about the bazaar
The Asian Bazaar is the YSC's biggest fundraiser each year and is an all-volunteer-coordinated effort. The in-person Bazaar takes place over a two-day weekend. Customers can shop for Asian furniture and antiques, décor, woodblock and etched prints, collectibles, recycled obi and kimono products, jewelry, soy sauce, and more from across the Far East – all while supporting a worthwhile cause!
The YSC Asian Bazaar is held each Spring at the Taiyo Community Center or in Hanger 15 on Yokota Air Base. More questions? Check out our FAQs. |
community impact
All net proceeds earned from the Bazaar are distributed to the Yokota community through scholarships along with donations to many worthwhile causes, such as: our schools, library, clubs and organizations, family and youth programs and Air Force-wide programs.
In years' past, the Bazaar has generated as much as $30,000 in educational scholarships. In 2020, the Bazaar was hosted 100% ONLINE in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure safety within our community. See our story HERE. The online Bazaar was the first of its kind in the at-large spouses' club community. |
